The Saturn Vue driven by Kari Milbank came to rest against the north guard rail after it was struck from behind by the box truck pictured in the backround. Authorities say Milbank was southbound on Hwy. 35 when she somehow lost control of the SUV and spun around into the northbound lane and was hit by the truck. Pierce County Sheriff's Department photo.
