Health care update for employers given Ellsworth chamber

The latest health care changes from an employer's perspective were shared by Linda Hines of Employee Benefits Administration Services, LLC (EBAS) with local chamber of commerce members Thursday.

At the outset, Hines referred Thursday's audience to

"The government put up a good (web) site," she said.

It addresses issues for a wide range of users, from families with children to senior citizens and employers, she said. A timeline for implementation of new regulations is being followed, from 2010-18. A separate Department of Labor web site keeps employers updated as to what the latest benefits are.
