Woodworking exhibit begins June 4, artist reception June 18

River Falls Public Library Gallery presents "Out of the Woods," a woodworking exhibit revealing the variety of form, function and beauty evoked from trees by the vision, hands, tools and crafting skills of regional wood artisans.

The exhibit opens June 4 and runs through July 16.

There will be an artist reception from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On Saturday, June 18. The community is invited to visit the exhibit and some of the artists while they demonstrate different woodworking techniques. As always cookies will be available.

Demonstrators during the reception are Robert Thon, woodburning; Harley Saathoff, carving; and Judy Ritger, kolrosing.

More demonstrations will be held on July 16, from 10:30-noon by Harley Saathoff, carving, and Robert Thon, woodburning.
