PIERCE COUNTY: Request For Proposals - 2013 Fines Screen

Pierce County, will accept proposals for labor, materials and services for the purpose of adding into the existing fiber system, a “fines” separator. Proposals must be received by mail, or hand delivered, to David Murphy, MRF Supervisor, 707 North Maple Street, P.O. Box 118, Ellsworth WI 54011, no later than 12:00/noon on November 22, 2013, in an envelope, clearly marked “Fines Screen Proposal 2013.” The Proposals will be reviewed at 1:30 p.m. on November 22, 2013, at the Pierce County Solid Waste Dept. / (MRF) Material Recovery Facility, Ellsworth, WI. The Department will submit its recommendation to the Solid Waste Management Board for approval. Request For Proposal may be obtained from David Murphy, MRF Supervisor, 707 North Maple Street, P.O. Pierce County reserves the right, in its sound discretion, to accept or reject any or all proposals provided in response to proposal documents, regardless of conformity with the specifications, as well as to waive any errors and omissions as well as any technical failure of any proposal to be fully responsive. Such discretion shall be exercised in the best interest of Pierce County and its taxpayers. Pierce County also reserves the right to determine who, among the vendors, constitutes the lowest, responsible price quotes for the project in question. Proposal price shall remain in effect for 90 days. Pierce County reserves the right to reduce its agreement with the successful vendor to a written contract and until such a time as said contract is executed by and between the parties, Pierce County shall not be bound to the terms of the proposal in question.
