Rush River Trail Riders award scholarships
The Rush River Trail Riders held a successful Snow Day event Saturday, Feb. 10 (thanks to Mother Nature's fresh coating of snow) at their clubhouse. Pictured sitting on their snowmobiles in front of the new snowmobile trail bridge over Lost Creek are the club's scholarship recipients: (from left) Cole Juen, Anna Schulte, Sophia Cole, Cameron Koplin and Jacob Raechke.
This bridge was completely funded by a grant through snowmobile registrations and trail pass sales. As a club, Rush River Trail Riders strive to donate back to the community. To date, they have awarded over $5,500 to local senior students with funds from the Snow Day fundraiser to further their education. The club wishes to thank the community and club members for the time and efforts put into this event and know the impact you have on our youth.
