13 Milwaukee men arrested for illegally taking fish
Thirteen Milwaukee area men have been arrested for illegally taking over 22-hundred fish from the Chippewa Flowage in northern Wisconsin.
D-N-R spokesman Jim Bishop said the men were part of a church group. They range in age from 34-to-74 - and they face a combined 71-thousand dollars in fines and restitution for taking blue-gills, crappies, and other fish. Wardens said it took six hours to count all the fish. Warden supervisor Rick Rosen says investigators are still trying to figure out if others were involved. And because of that, he would not comment further on the case.
