130th Pierce County Fair wraps-up Sunday

The 130th Pierce County Fair concluded Sunday in Ellsworth.

Almost picture perfect weather drew large crowds to the fair this year according to Fair Director Ann Webb.

She also said there were no incidents or any problems with the newly established "social garden" where fairgoers could drink beer in an enclosed area on the fairgrounds.

Highlights on Sunday included the truck pull, the Gopher State Lawn Tractor Pull, and two performances by the Colleen Raye Family Show.

Sunday was also Veterans Day at the Fair and was ceremony was held honoring Pierce County Veterans from American Legion and VFW posts from around the county. Veterans were allowed into the Fairgrounds for free.
