3 businesses interested after Village of Ellsworth promotion

Three businesses have expressed interest in locating in two Ellsworth developments following a marketing promotion by the village which began earlier this year.

Village Clerk-Treasurer Peggy Nelson said Wednesday two of the leads are considering village property in the Crossing Meadows Business Park on Ellsworth's northwest side and one is doing likewise for such property in the East End Industrial Park. Nelson declined to identify the prospects until arrangements for them to come to the sites are finalized.

The interest was generated by an effort for which Matchey Marketing of Strum was hired, the clerk-treasurer said. Emily Matchey's firm has created marketing materials for the land, and prepared mailings to companies and real estate brokers.
