Milwaukee police say they have arrested a man after he went out into city traffic trying to give away a baby. Witnesses say the man was running down Center Street last Sunday, trying to hand the baby girl to people who were driving by. Officers finally managed to get the eight month old child away from him. They later found out the baby had just had a heart transplant operation. The unidentified man was a relative. He has been charged with reckless endangerment.

A fugitive wanted on 16 felony charges from Michigan was arrested in Racine this week, but not without a struggle. Eugene Marr had reportedly vowed he would do anything in his power to avoid being captured. Officials report three police officers were injured as they tried to subdue Marr last Wednesday. They say they eventually had to use a stun gun to get the handcuffs on him. Marr is wanted in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When officers there tried to arrested last February, a dash cam video shows him speeding away while cops were trying to pull him out of the SUV. As he drove off, one of the officers was thrown onto a squad car.
