Are you smarter than a Chamber Board?

The Prescott Chamber of Commerce held its 29th annual dinner Tuesday at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls. "It was a phenomenal year to work with you," said outgoing Chamber President Char Magee of Prescott Insurance, highlighting the accomplishments in 2007. The chamber announced its award winners for the year, including Cernohous Chevrolet as Business of the Year, new Chamber President Cindy Boggess from M&I Bank as its Member of the Year and Neil Durhman of North Acres as its Citizen of the Year. Outgoing chamber board members Michael Schindler of Premier Mortgage, Rev. Richard Durrow of St. Paul's Lutheran and Amy Sabelko of Ptacek's IGA were honored, while new board members Julie Moe of WESTconsin Credit Union, Erica Raangard from Kilkarney Hills and John Sherman of Arbor Inn were recognized. The Prescott Public Works Department received a special recognition award, while the entertainment was "Are You Smarter Than a Prescott Chamber Board of Director?"
