HUDSON: Groups meet
The St. Croix Valley Rotaract Group meets at the Hudson Golf Club the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 7 p.m. For more information, go to: www.scvrotaract.org. HUDSON: Performances set at Phipps Center
"Greater Tuna," a comedy tour de force, will be performed at The Phipps Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 15-23, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24. Cliff Brunzell and the Golden Strings will perform a variety of musical selections at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17. HUDSON: Free legal clinic help available
The St. Croix Valley Bar Association, serving St. Croix, Polk, Pierce and Dunn Counties, will staff a free legal clinic from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in the St. Croix County Community Room of the St. Croix County Government Center. No appointment is necessary. The association will have attorneys on hand to meet with individuals for about 10 minutes to provide general information in the following areas of law: Employment law, family law, landlord/tenant and small claims, criminal/traffic, estate planning/elder law/probate, real estate, business law, and debtor/creditor. HAMMOND: New artistic display presented
The Hammond Arts Alliance will present "Fertile Ground-Underground" Saturday, Jan. 16, and Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Foster Art Vault Gallery in the Associated Bank. The presentation will be open 5-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, with a reading from Mark Granlund's book "Fertile Ground: Parenting and Nature" at 7:30 p.m. Artists include Alis Olsen, Mark Granlund and Teri Power.
