Barn fire east of Prescott brings out multiple units

A barn fire east of Prescott brought out multiple fire department units to the scene Wednesday afternoon. 

Fire Departments from Ellsworth, Prescott, River Falls arrived at N6568 County Highway QQ, around 2:15 p.m. for a barn fire that became engulfed upon their arrival.

County tax records show the property is owned by a Paula R. Fiedler. According to preliminary information, the barn contained some cattle, which were all pulled out, while the rest of the building were storage and hay. No one was injured. A cause of the fire has yet to be announced.  

Besdies the barn fire, firefighters were also dealing with brush and grass fires as well. Units from Hastings and Hudson were also on scene to provide assistance in whatever what they could.

Prescott and River Falls Emergency Medical Services were on scene as well.
