Benefit for 911 dispatcher Lisa Speer Monday at Ready Randy's
RIVER FALLS -- Lisa Speer is dedicated to her 911 dispatcher job in St. Croix County as well as her many years as a flight attendant caring for passengers flying Northwest Airlines.
She has made a career out of helping people. Now it is Speer's turn to seek help while battling recently diagnosed breast cancer.
The public is invited to a benefit in honor of her next Monday at Ready Randy's Banquet Hall, just south of New Richmond. Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m., with silent auctions running throughout the evening.
Monetary donations can be sent to First Bank of Baldwin, c/o Lisa Speer Benefit, 990 Main St, Baldwin, WI 54002. For more information on making donations or helping with the benefit, please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Speer has a rough road ahead, but is ready for the battle with the help of co-workers, friends and family. She is a 1980 graduate of River Falls High School and currently lives in New Richmond.
