Betty Ann VandeBerg, 79
Betty Ann VandeBerg, age 79, of Prescott, died Sunday, Feb. 9, at Regina Senior Living, Hastings, Minn.
Betty was born on Nov. 3, 1934, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Hjalmer and Johanna (Peterson) Rosenquist. She married Darrell VandeBerg on May 28, 1955, in St. Paul. Together they had four daughters.
Betty loved to scrapbook, keeping up with family history, dressing up for Halloween, candle making and gardening. She was an active member of the Prescott United Church of Christ, singing in the choir and serving at funerals. Betty also served as a 4H leader for over 20 years, and directing the 4H plays.
Betty is survived by her husband, Darrell, of Prescott, Wis.; four daughters: Penny Entringer, Glencoe, Minn., Linda (Dean) Speetzen, Prescott, Wis., Gayle Renaud, LaCrosse, Wis., and Stacy (John) Rogers, Prescott, Wis.; four grandchildren: Corrine, Rebecca, Ian, and Hannah; four great-grandchildren: Peyton, Rachel, Conner, and Kaitlyn; sister Lois Townsend; and brother Delmore Rosenquist. Betty is further survived by Tina Buckley; and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother Lester; and sisters Delores, and Violet.
Memorial services for Betty will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Prescott United Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Pine Glen Cemetery in the Spring. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, at the church and for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
