Beverly Karen Boles, 75

Beverly Karen Boles, age 75, of Prescott, Wis., passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 2, surrounded by her loved ones.

Bev was born in Red Wing, Minn., on Nov. 14, 1937, the daughter of Harold and Isabelle (Hall) Hinck. She grew up in Bay City, Wis., and was a 1954 graduate of Ellsworth High School. She married Stan Boles in Red Wing, on Feb. 24, 1955, and resided in Prescott, (Oak Grove), Wis. Bev was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Bev was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, in Oak Grove.

Bev was known for her beautiful smile, positive spirit, and exceptional humor. Bev loved to host family gatherings. She made the best homemade chocolate cake. She gave personal attention to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. In addition to running a busy home, Bev was Stanleys business partner through life. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, sewing, puzzles, movies and watching boxing with Stan. She enjoyed their trips to Arizona where she met and made many new friends. Bev was always there when you needed her.

Bev is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Stan Boles, Prescott; six children: Karen (Tom) Swanson, Kathy (John) Gergen, Karol Boles (Jay Carlson), James (Lori) Boles, Kristine (Mitchell) Voelker, Jason (Angela) Boles, all of Prescott; 27 grandchildren: Patrick Swanson (Melissa), Michael Swanson (Nicole), Neal Swanson (Natalie), Jeffrey Swanson, Michelle Gergen, Leslie Odden (Dan), Phillip Gergen (Jenny), Samuel Butler (Stacee), Abbey Butler (Rob), Gretchen Butler (Jesus), Sarah Butler (Jason), Joseph Butler (Cassie), Margaret Butler (Brad), Benjamin Boles Herpst, Jeremiah Boles (Roxan), Jessica Millar (Josh), Joshua Boles (Trina), Jacob Boles (Nicole), Jordan Boles (Mariah), Steven Voelker, Ryan Voelker, Rachel Voelker, Lee Boles, Elysia Boles, Jillian Boles, Mallory Boles, and Nora Boles; and 15 great-grandchildren: Cecelia, Trevin, Axel, Penelope, Andrea, and Clayton, Taylar, Will, Annabel, Shane, Scarlett and Jase, James, Mayzie, and Adeline. She is further survived by a nephew; three nieces; cousins; and friends.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Sharleen Patricia and Janice Karolyn; a grandson; and two nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Joy Lutheran Church in Prescott, Wis. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Joy Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Pine Glen Cemetery, Prescott.
