Request for Proposals Notice

Pierce County seeks a professional to provide civil engineering and planning services for an approximately 20 acre parcel in the Town of Trenton, Pierce County, Wisconsin. Sealed Proposals must be received by mail or hand delivered to Bill Warner, PCEDC Executive Director, c/o Pierce County Corporation Counsel, 414 W. Main St., P.O. Box 367, Ellsworth, WI 54011 by no later than 2:00 p.m., Friday October 24, 2008, in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal - Engineering and Planning". The Pierce County Finance and Personnel Committee will review and award the proposal, on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pierce County Courthouse, 414 West Main Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011. The Request for Proposal Specification documents should be obtained from Bill Warner, UW-River Falls, RDI Building, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022, (715) 425-3881. Pierce County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals regardless of conformity with the specifications. Furthermore, Pierce County may declare as valid any proposal submitted despite its failure to adhere to the terms and conditions stated in the specifications/proposal form. Pierce County reserves the right to using reasonable business judgment to negotiate with a respondent whether or not its submittal is deemed to be the lowest responsive and responsible proposal. Pierce County is bound only upon the signing and execution of a formal written contract.
