The annual Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival is in full swing this weekend at East End Park in East Ellsworth.

The theme is for the 13th annual Cheese Curd Fest is "Welcome to The Big Cheesy", styling the festival to a New Orleans's Mardi Gras.

Saturday's events included the kid's parade, antique tractor show, 3-on-3 basketball tournament and 5k run. There was also live entertainments and plenty of food, games and display booths as well.

This afternoon will feature the Grand Parade taking place at 1 p.m. followed by a cheese curd eating contest at 2:30 p.m. in East End Park.
