Big D-SC wins for Spring Valley, Plum City

Both the Spring Valley and Plum City prep boys basketball teams won important Dunn-St. Croix Conference contests Tuesday evening.

Spring Valley won in overtime over Colfax 62-50 at Spring Valley and Plum City won at home over Elmwood 57-46.

Playing one of its best games of the season so far, SV outscored the Vikings 12-2 in the extra session and moved into third place in the conference standings. Zac Webster poured in 25 points to lead Valley to a 9-2 overall record, 6-2 in the D-SC

PC moved a game above .500 in the league standings at 5-4 by sweeping the season series over the Raiders. The Blue Devils outscored the Raiders 35-24 in the second half after the game was tied at halftime. Alex Boyer had 16 points for Plum City while Elmwood's Levi Wolf led all scorers with 18 points. PC is 5-6 overall while Elmwood drops to 1-11.
