SPRING VALLEY--Thirteen residents from Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties completed hospice volunteer training for ADORAY Hospice. Included was Kaye Bird of Spring Valley.

The October graduates met in Baldwin to receive two days of specialized training on hospice care and end-of-life issues.

Hospice care allows terminally ill patients and their families to experience the end of life together, in the comfort and security of their home. ADORAY welcomes and relies on volunteers from the community to provide companionship for patients, respite for their caregivers, and other tasks helping patients and their families cope.

For further information, contact ADORAY at 800-359-0174 or 715-684-5020.
