ELLSWORTH - Plum City High School's football team was able to pass for 142 yards despite the stiff winds and beat Alma Center Lincoln 26-6 Tuesday at Fuller-Symes Field.

The game was tied at the half 6-6 but PC broke it late in the third quarter when Blue Devil running back Ryan Gillman scored on a seven-yard run. PC put up two more scores in the fourth quarter when Gabe Rodriguez scored on a 27-yard run and Plum City quarterback Alex Gilles connected with receiver Tyler Churchill for a 38-yard scoring pass. Gilles was 7-for-12 passing and Gillman rushed for 59 yards on 17 carries.

PC's defense held the Hornets (4-6) to -7 yards passing.

The No. 5 ranked Devils improved to 10-0 overall and will play at Fuller-Symes Field again Saturday vs. Hillsboro (7-3), which was a 12-6 winner at home over Weston.
