NEILLSVILLE - Plum City was looking for more scoring options than just Chase Luebker and found them in Chad Fox Thursday at the WIAA Division 5 sectional semifinal.

Fox scored all 20 of his game-high points in the second half in Plum City's 50-31 rout of defending sectional champion Royall.

The Blue Devils, 16-8 overall, will play in the sectional finals Saturday at La Crosse Central High School. Tip-off is at 4 p.m. PC's opponent will be No. 11 ranked Wauzeka-Steuben (23-2), which upset No.2 Benton 41-38 in the other semifinal match-up down in Mineral Point.

This is the furthest in the playoffs PC has been since its last trip to state in 1995. Plum City continued the strong defense and rebounding its shown throughout the playoffs, holding the Panthers, 19-7 overall, to just six points combined in the second and third quarters, including a 20-4 margin in the third quarter. Plum City's quickness in forcing steals and getting rebounds was too much for Royall to handle.

Luebker finished with 14 points and Tyler Churchill scored seven points.
