Braun is second in fan voting for NL outfielders in July's All-Star game
Milwaukee's Ryan Braun is still second among National League outfielders in the fan voting for next month's All-Star Game.
Braun has the fourth-highest total among all NL players with 2,178,000 votes. He trails the injured Raul Ibanez of Philadelphia by almost 300,000 votes.
New York's Carlos Beltran has the third outfield spot at the moment but he, too, was put on the disabled list Monday with a bruised right knee-bone.
The Cubs' Alfonso Soriano is fourth in the outfield voting.
Brewers' first baseman Prince Fielder, shortstop J.J. Hardy, and injured second baseman Rickie Weeks remain third at their respective positions.
Jason Kendall is fourth among catchers, and Bill Hall is fifth among third basemen.
Cardinals' first baseman Albert Pujols regained his earlier spot as the National League's top vote-getter with just more than 2.9 million votes.
He has a 12,000 vote edge over Phillies' second baseman Chase Utley.
The All-Star Game will be played July 14 in St. Louis.
