Brendan Moran, 39
Brendan Moran, age 39, of El Paso, Wis., died suddenly Saturday, July 27, at St. Marys Hospital, Mayo Health System, in Rochester, Minn.
Brendan was born April 13, 1974, to Barry and Rosalie (Gaustad) Moran in St. Paul, Minn. He was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spring Valley. Brendan grew up in El Paso and attended Ellsworth schools, graduating in 1992. After high school he attended Stout University at Menomonie and the Minnesota School of Drafting.
Brendan married Kim Kennedy in 2003. The "light of his life" was the birth of their daughter Ashtyn. Most of all, Brendan loved the time he spent with his daughters, Ashtyn and Cierra.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Ida (Larson) Moran and Carroll and Myrtle (Thompson) Gaustad.
Brendan will be greatly missed by his daughters, Ashtyn Moran and Cierra Kennedy; his parents, Barry and Rosalie; his siblings, Cheryl (Randy) Husfloen, Patricia (Mike Flett), Brian and Melissa; his nephews, Luke (Emmy) Husfloen and Alex Husfloen; niece Morgan Christopherson; great-nieces Marley, Brianna, and great-nephew Logan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spring Valley. Memorial funeral service for Brendan followed at 2 p.m. with Deacon Kevin Ray officiating. Urn bearers were Luke Husfloen and Alex Husfloen. Burial was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, El Paso Township, Wis.
