BREWERS ROUNDUP: Cardinals offense comes alive late to defeat Milwaukee 4-2

Wily Peralta took a no-hitter into the sixth inning last night, but it fell apart as the Milwaukee Brewers lost at Saint Louis 4-to-2. Matt Holliday belted a two-run homer with two out in the sixth inning to give the Cards their first hit. Matt Carpenter and Mike Adams had R-B-I singles in the seventh-and-eighth frames to close out their scoring. Logan Schafer produced Milwaukee's only offense with a pinch-hit two-run homer in the ninth.
