Bucks' Bogut out for 2-4 weeks with injury
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Bucks' center Andrew Bogut will be out for 2-to-4 weeks. He strained and bruised his left leg in Wednesday night's home win over New Jersey.
The injury disclosed yesterday, after Bogut had an M-R-I. General manager John Hammond called it disappointing. He said veteran centers Dan Gadzuric (god-zer-eech') and Kurt Thomas will have to fill in.
Seven-footer Francisco Elson could also get some playing time. He has yet to appear in a game this season. Meanwhile, guard Michael Redd will not return tonight from his left knee injury when the Bucks host the Charlotte Bobcats.
He's been taking part in non-contact drills this week, and was hoping to play this evening. Hammond says Redd could be available next Wednesday when the Bucks play in New Orleans.
Also, forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is expected to miss tonight's contest with a strained left foot suffered in Monday night's loss to Dallas. He's considered day-to-day.
