Bucks escape with OT win
The Milwaukee Bucks escaped with a 105-102 overtime win over the Washington Wizards Sunday night at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks blew an 11-point lead in the final two minutes of regulation and they were down by four with 2:18 left in the overtime.
But Mo Williams made back-to-back three-pointers to give the Bucks the lead for good.
They played without guard Michael Redd, who strained his left knee Friday night in Toronto and forward Charlie Villanueva, who has a strained lower back. Nobody knows when Redd will return, but the Bucks are 4-1 without him.
Williams had 25 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Royal Ivey had a career-high 17 points for Milwaukee, who won for just the third time in their last 10 games.
Racine native Caron Butler had a career-high 40 points and eight rebounds for Washington, which lost for the third time in nine contests.
The Bucks are now 18-27 and will play at New Jersey Tuesday night.
