Changes to SNAP program to give more to Minnesota

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Changes have been made to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly food stamps, that will give Minnesota and other states more resources to improve health and well-being.

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says the SNAP Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Grant Program will fund the fight against obesity, promotion of heart health, and other diet related issues.
