Cheese Curd Festival organizers seek crafters
The 2011 Cheese Curd Festival, to be held in Ellsworth the last weekend in June, is looking for craft vendors for the Craft, Flea Market and Business Show.
This event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26, under the shade of the Pierce County Fairgrounds in Ellsworth.
The theme this year is "Cheezy Rider," and will be open to families and all motorcycle riders as well. There will be something for everyone at the event, which celebrates Ellsworth's designation as the "Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin."
The Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, the title sponsor of this year's festival, will play a vital role in the event with cheese curd sampling and a cheese curd eating contest. Also included will be live music for every age group, plus tons of events for kids.
Any craft vendor who would like to take part in the festival is asked to contact the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce by either phone 715-273-6442 or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org for an application. Entry is $50 before Sunday, May 1, and $75 after that date.
The event is put on each year by the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce.
