The team will conduct its first practice Saturday, Aug. 1, at Ramer Field.

The annual Family Fun Day activities are set for Saturday, Aug. 8. In the past this event has been a huge draw and includes a night practice under the lights.

The Chiefs will break camp and leave River Falls on Thursday, Aug. 20. They have a second preseason game next day in the Metrodome against the Minnesota Vikings.

More information on specific practice times, dates and policies for training camp will be announced at a later date.

The Chiefs first camp at the university was held in 1991. Back then a huge downtown parade with many hundreds of spectators lined Main Street to welcome the NFL team.
