PLUM CITY - Inspired by the return of Plum City's first two state tournament teams of 1994 and 1995,  which were honored during a halftime ceremony, the current Blue Devil basketball team went out and routed Boyceville 64-46 Saturday afternoon.

Alex Boyer scored 19 ponts to lead PC and teammate Peter Fenter had a season-high 13 points.

Plum City led 20-10 after the first quarter and built on the lead throughout the game. At one point PC was ahead by over 20 points through good shooting and scrappy defense.

The win improves the Devils' record to 4-6 overall and 4-4 in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference.

Spring Valley bounced back from an embarrassing losss at Elk Mound early last week to edge Glenwood City at home 50-46 Saturday.  The Cardinals trailed GC 22-20 at halftime but outscored them 30-24 in the second half. Zac Webster finished with 14 points to lead SV while Ben Becker scored 10 points.

In other D-SC action from Saturday, No. 7 Elk Mound roughed up Elmwood 60-21, leading 46-4 at halftime. Levi Wolf led Elmwood with 10 points. Mondovi beat St. Croix Central 63-41. Elk Mound lead the conference by a game over Mondovi 9-0 to 8-1 while both Spring Valley and Colfax are 5-2 in league play.
