D.A.R.E. gets donation from Fairmont Minerals

HAGER CITY -- Steve Albarado has said more than once in his previous four years as Pierce County Sheriff's Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) officer, his budget is only $1,000, so he tries to spread it out as best he can.

When DARE announced a new curriculum would be introduced for the upcoming school year, Albarado had to do something he has only done once before--ask for donations.

Luckily, there was a local county business willing to take his cause.
