On April 22, Ellsworth High School's Just Do Something organization hosted their second Charity Community Dodge Ball Tournament. There were 20 local teams in all, many representing local businesses. Approximately $1,000 was raised for the charity of the top team's choice. This spring saw a repeat winner, with Dairy Queen sponsored "Arctic Rush" team of Evan Schulte, Gabe Mooney, Brett Freier, Adam Schuster, Dennis Schutz and Austin Krauss placing first, followed by Nilssen's Stockboys and Friends (Kenny Stowe, Jacob Murphy, Kyle Kurrelmeyer, Devrin Myers and Brandon VanderMarliere) placing second. Both teams chose to donate their proceeds to Autism Speaks. The Creativity Award went to Bank Mutual's Bank Lady's Fighting Cheetahs and the Creamery's Team B. They had great costumes and team spirit! Appreciation goes to all community members who helped make this a success!
