When Rory O' Sullivan started earlier this month as the new Assistant District Attorney (ADA) for Pierce County, his reservations about taking the job didn't last long.

"Any reservations I had went out the door when I walked in for the first time," he said last week. "It's been a pleasure to work with these people. Everything is so well-run here. I'm quite happy."

O'Sullivan succeeds Greg Amann as the half-time ADA. As O'Sullivan explained, "one thing led to another and I spoke to (District Attorney) Sean (Froelich), who did his due diligence."

Explained Froelich: "From the many attorneys I talked to, (Rory) seemed like the natural choice. He's smart and I like his enthusiasm. He seems like a real go-getter."

His schedule isn't set in stone, but he will be working every Monday and Tuesday for sure and likely every other Thursday over a two-week period.
