DVA planning several ceremonies for vets around the state

MADISON - The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs is planning three ceremonies around the state this weekend.

The first will be held Sunday morning at the veterans home in Union Grove. DVA Secretary John Scocos and World War Two veteran Wally Stenavich are to speak. Then, a second ceremony will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery just south of Spooner. Cemetery Director Matthew Bergs and state Assemblyman Nick Milroy are the scheduled speakers.

At about the same time, a ceremony will be held at the veterans home in King that afternoon. Commandant Mary Hansen and Wisconsin Veterans Museum director Michael Telzrow will be the speakers.
