EHS rallies in second half again to win

Ellsworth High School's boys' basketball team made another second half rally to win 48-43 over St. Croix Central Saturday at Ellsworth.

Ellsworth had come back from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to beat Durand the night before.

The Panthers trailed SCC 23-21 at halftime after a slow start to game. But they outscored Central 18-8 to take a 39-31 in the third quarter, a lead they held for the remainder of the game.

Jimmy Miska led EHS with 17 points. Chris Niedfeldt scored 11 points for Ellsworth and Riley O'Neil had 10 points.
