Ellsworth edges Somerset 4-2, improves to 5-0

HAGER CITY - Ellsworth High School's baseball team improved to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Middle Border Conference with a 4-2 over Somerset Thursday at Brown Field.


Nick Taranto and Eric McGregor both drive in two runs for the Panthers and Dennis Schutz and Logan Armstrong each had two hits. EHS outhit the Spartans 9-2. 

Ellsworth plated a pair of runs in the third and fourth innings to go ahead an break a tie with the Spartans.
