SALEM TOWNSHIP - The Ellsworth Fire Department put out a combined fire early evening Wednesday.

The fire was reported approximately at 5 p.m. in a corn field off 330th Ave. in Salem Township. A John Deere model 4400 was reported on fire.

The field was directly across Highway 10 from Weiser Concrete and includes the resident addresses of W3717-W2725.

Also at the scene were units of the Pierce County Sheriff's Department and the Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service.
