The Ellsworth High School girls tennis team hasn't won a Middle Border Conference dual meet since 2009 when they defeated Unity/Luck.


But the Panthers, 2-5-1 overall, have a chance to break a long conference losing streak against Unity/Luck at Balsam Lake this afternoon.

Ellsworth will be in action this weekend at the Baldwin-Woodville Invitational.

In volleyball this evening, Plum City plays in the Luck Triangular against St. Croix Falls and Luck, the No. 2 ranked team in Division 4. Elmwood hosts Independence and Spring Valley is at Baldwin-Woodville.  This Saturday Prescott plays in the Hudson Tournament. Next weekend begins conference play on Tuesday in the Dunn-St. Croix and Thursday in the Middle Border Conference. Prescott has its first home match next Tuesday vs. River Falls.
