Ellsworth grapplers take care of Osceola 63-9, have big meet this weekend

The No. 3 ranked Ellsworth High School wrestling team wrestled 14-on-14 against Osceola and won with the overwhelming score of 63-9 Thursday at home.


The Panthers actually trailed 9-0 after the first two matches but won all the rest. Winning by pinfall were Sam Huppert at 119 pounds, Austin Welch at 130, Dan Huppert at 140, Noah McLay at 160, Parker Hines at 171, Tyler Hunter at 215 and Nick Oeltjen at heavyweight.
