Ellsworth Middle School honorees receive double the distinction

"Think big" was the theme chosen by Ellsworth Middle School's student council for this term and, when it came time to submit a nomination for their statewide organization's Administrator of the Year award, they did just that.


Students from the approximately 50-member council at EMS wrote a nomination supporting both Principal Paul Uhren and Assistant Principal Tim Brunner for the award, the winning pair said last week. Consequently, unlike past winners, the successful nomination means this year's award is going to a team instead of an individual.
