BALDWIN - Jumping out to a 7-1 lead after two innings, Ellsworth had an easy time taking care of Baldwin-Woodville on the way to a 10-3 Middle Border Conference victory Tuesday in Baldwin.


Logan Armstrong drove in a pair of runs for the Panthers, and Dan Giese and Dennis Schutz each cracked a pair of hits in the victory. In three innings on the mound, Brady Yanish struck out eight in the victory.

Fourth-ranked (Division 2) Ellsworth hosts Somerset Thursday in Hager City.
