Ellsworth School Board approves open enrollment applications

Open enrollment applications were approved by the Ellsworth School Board early this week.

Superintendent Barry Cain said Tuesday all of the applications except one were approved.

Information on the applications for 2011-12 from the local school district office shows the following transfers in:

--Plum City (not attending Ellsworth schools now), one 4K student, one fifth grade student, one 10th grade student and one eighth grade student, (already in district), one 11th grade student;

--Prescott (not attending Ellsworth schools now), one 4K student and one first grade student, (already in district), one third grade student and one third grade student;

--St. Croix Central (not attending Ellsworth schools now), one 4K student;

--Elmwood (not attending Ellsworth schools now), one 11th grade student;

--Spring Valley (not attending Ellsworth schools now), one 11th grade student.
