Ellsworth School Board previews summer maintenance work
Summer maintenance projects were previewed by the Ellsworth School Board Monday.
The projects are part of a continuing effort to maintain district facilities, yet stay manageable within the district's budget, according to Superintendent Barry Cain.
"There are some large projects which we simply don't have enough money to do," Cain said, mentioning asbestos abatement and track replacement as examples.
However, the board's buildings, grounds and transportation committee has been presented these smaller undertakings, he said. They include roofing work.
