Ellsworth school bus driver work pact includes notable changes

A 2010-11 bus driver work agreement featuring some significant changes from the past was approved by the Ellsworth School Board during a closed session early last week.

The pact is reviewed annually, according to Superintendent Barry Cain. For such non-union matters, administration and the board's personnel committee meet with representatives of the unit involved, Cain said Wednesday. The school district now employs around 29 drivers.

"There were quite a few changes this year," he said, referring to the agreement.
