Ellsworth High School's softball team topped Hwy. 10 rival Prescott 10-1 Friday at Brown Field.
The Panthers were led at the plate by Ashley Matzek hit a two-run homer as part of a four-hit effort which drove in four runs. She also scored three runs herself. 
 Serena Hoisington was the winning pitcher. She struck out five batters and held Prescott to just three hits and drove in a run. Prescott's hits came from Katy Syverson, Mariah Krings and Annie Pryor. Syverson and Krings's hits came in the first inning. Ellsworth improves to 2-3 overall and in the MIddle Border Conference.
