Ellsworth spikers outlast Elmwood 3-1

ELMWOOD - Ellsworth and Elmwood played a grueling four-game non-conference match Tuesday, one where the Panthers had to use their depth to outlast the shorthanded Raiders by a 3-1 score.

Three of the four games went past 25 points. Ellsworth took games one and two 26-24 and 29-27 by Elmwood, thanks to the serving of Christina McKune, rallied from a 24-16 deficit in game three to win 26-24.

Ellsworth, led by hitters Kayla Christopherson and Claire Tingelhoff and blocker Abbey Ristow, dominated game four to win 25-15 and improve to 6-1 overall. The Raiders drop to 3-7 overall.
