Ellsworth woman injured in three-car accident Monday night
An Ellsworth woman was injured in a three-car accident Monday night.
Craig Borst, 39, Ellsworth, was eastbound on Hwy. 10 in the Town of Trimbelle when he struck a southbound vehicle, operated by Lois Melstrom, 73, when she turned from the westbound lane of 10, southbound across traffic.
Melstrom's vehicle then hit a third vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign on Hwy. 63/10, operated by Matthew Traynor, 31, Ellsworth.
The accident happened at 7:06 p.m., according to Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Jean Spletstoser.
Melstrom was transported by Ellsworth Area Ambulance to River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries. Borst and Traynor were not injured. Ellsworth Fire was also on-scene.
