Elmwood Board approves new meeting dates

ELMWOOD--The Elmwood Village Board met July 14 and approved a new meeting schedule.
In other business:
--The new wastewater treatment facility bid was awarded to Staab Construction and a payment of $72,702.66 was approved to Foth Engineering for work on the facility.
--There was a brief discussion about acquiring land, but the matter was tabled until the following month.
--In committee reports, Trustee Dolores Radtke reported the library had received a new bike rack through a county program, carpet cleaning would be done in August and 700 patrons visited the library in the previous month.
--Trustee Mike Sand reported there was $300,000 in additional grant money available to the village, with the balance in loans to cover the project overrun.
--The board approved increasing the title insurance to cover additional loan and grant monies.
