Elmwood snaps losing streak, tops PC

PLUM CITY - The win streak Plum City's boys had was cut short at one and only lasted 72 hours. Meanwhile Elmwood's three-game losing streak ended in the Raiders' 76-59 win.

Plum City led 9-6 after the first quarter but Elmwood outscored them 48-26 in quarters two and three. The Raiders' top scorer Josh Pax had his best game in weeks as he put down 29 points and was a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line.

Pax's teammate and former Plum City player Jesse McKune had 13 points and went 7-for-10 at the free-throw line in his first game back at Plum City in basketball. Elmwood made 15-of-19 free throws while the Devils were a paltry 9-for-19.

Shawn Ingli led Plum City in scoring with 17 points, including three 3-pointers. Ryan Flynn finished with 15 points to go with a 11 rebounds for a double-double. Alex Gilles had 11 points for Plum City.
