ELMWOOD - Kelsey Leach was absolutely perfect for seven innings Tuesday as Elmwood blanked Boyceville 5-0.

Leach struck out five giving up no hits, runs, errors or walks.

The game was the second in the afternoon for the Raiders. It was a make-up game. The Red and Black played Mondovi earlier in the afternoon, a regularly scheduled Dunn-St. Croix Conference game and won 6-1.

Leach pitched 14 innings in the warm sun and got stronger as the evening wore on. Against Mondovi, she tossed a two-hitter with no walks.

Ali Pax and Tina McKune both had two hits for Elmwood against the Bulldogs. Brittni Peterson drove in two runs with a double. Against Mondovi, McKune drove in three runs and Renee Lehmann had two RBIs.
